Jeep is more ready than ever to compete with all off-road competitors thanks to the New Xtreme Recon Package available on the 2021 Jeep Wrangler. This trim looks as great as it sounds with many off-road-focused enhancements designed to give you the best off-road experience Jeep has to offer. Between the 35-inch tires and 1.5-inch suspension lift, you’re more than equipped to handle the toughest roads that come your way.
The Jeep Xtreme Rubicon will be available on the four-door Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited models. The package makes sure to add additional features and attachments from the original Jeep Wrangler in order to enhance the off-road experience. The additions include:
If you choose to equip your model with the six-speed manual transmission, the Wrangler Rubicon can now be optioned with 4.88:1 final drives. The package will be reserved for the Rubicon 392 as well as the Wrangler Rubicon.
The Xtreme Recon promises and delivers on the best-in-class departure angles, ground clearance, and water-fording capability. In comparison to its rival Ford Bronco with its new Sasquatch Package, the Xtreme Recon Package of the Wrangler beats it in just about every major category.
The Xtreme Recon Package is available with two distinct powertrains to choose from. You’ll have the option of either a 3.6-liter V6 supported by a mild-hybrid system or a 6.4-liter Hemi available for the Wrangler Rubicon 392. The V6 is extremely effective while delivering 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of power. This engine supports the Wrangler and allows for a super smooth, but still speedy experience. Don’t forget about the eight-speed automatic transmission helping the driver shift between speeds just about perfectly, making for a generational performance. In terms of milage daily usage, you can expect 19 mpg in the city with this Wrangler and close to 24 mpg on highway drive which averages to 21 mpg when it’s all said and done.
