Ram is closing out the 2024 model year with a bang, revealing the all-new Lunar Editions for the Ram 2500 Power Wagon and Rebel Heavy Duty. According to Chris Fuell, CEO of RAM and Chrysler brands,

Celestial Design and Features

The Lunar Editions stand out with their exclusive Ceramic Grey paint, complemented by unique Lunar-themed vinyl graphics in gloss black. These special editions don’t just look ready for the moon—they’re built for serious off-road capability. The Power Wagon comes equipped with a factory-installed 2-inch lift, 17-inch black wheels, and massive 33-inch tires that are designed to tackle the roughest terrain. The Rebel Heavy Duty also sports 33-inch tires, but with 20-inch black wheels that add an extra touch of boldness.

Both models feature black tow mirrors, powder-coated bumpers, and black wheel flares, increasing its rugged aesthetic. Body-color badging and premium LED headlights and taillights complete the exterior package, ensuring that these trucks shine just as brightly at night as they do during the day.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the Power Wagon Lunar Edition is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine that delivers 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. This powerhouse is paired with front and rear locking differentials and a sway bar disconnect system, which allows the suspension to move freely over uneven terrain, maintaining traction where lesser trucks might falter. Additionally, the Power Wagon includes a factory-installed 12,000-pound Warn winch, neatly integrated into the front bumper, making it ready for any recovery mission.

On the other hand, the Rebel Heavy Duty Lunar Edition comes with the formidable 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel engine, and outputs 370 horsepower and an impressive 850 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine provides the Rebel with a towing capacity of up to 14,900 pounds and a payload rating of 1,960 pounds, making it one of the most capable trucks in its class. The exclusive link-coil rear suspension system, with optional air suspension, will also make any obstacle feel insignificant.

Inside, the Lunar Editions offer a cabin that’s as luxurious as it is functional. Black leather surfaces are adorned with Surf Blue contrast stitching, while Twill Film accents borrowed from the Ram TRX enhance the interior’s modern aesthetic. The center console, which doubles as an armrest, features a brushed metal emblem with satin chrome lettering, proudly displaying either “Power Wagon” or “Rebel” depending on the model.
